Hubert was a very difficult person to rent from. During my tenancy, Hubert repeatedly accused my son and me of smoking inside the rental unit. Neither my son nor I smoked in the unit. I offered Hubert multiple opportunities to come to the apartment at different times of the day and night so that he could personally see that no one was smoking inside the unit. Despite these offers, Hubert never came to the apartment to verify his concerns. I had multiple conversations with Hubert regarding his accusations about smoking, but he continued to accuse us of smoking without providing any evidence that we had done so.
