Maintenance requests were rarely handled in a timely manner. We were told maintenance would come take care of a problem on a specific day/time and no one would show. Trying to get a hold of Ocean Management by phone was near impossible and their office is closed to the public so you can't even walk in and speak with someone in person. The unit was heated and cooled by split units on the walls that were never serviced and incredibly underpowered. Utility costs could get up to $600 for one month. The parking lot was overrun by rats the size of housecats. The dumpsters were not emptied regularly because Ocean owed the trash company money. Trash sat for months at a time and was overrun by pests. At the end of the lease, the landlord did not return the security deposit despite being ordered to by small claims court. This company is dishonest and unprofessional. Ocean is a scourge upon New Haven and the fact they are allowed to own this many properties is disgusting. Do not rent from them
