Landlord coerced me into a 2 yr lease knowing that I needed to be in the area of the property and was in need of a place pretty quickly. Stated I couldn't rent if I didn't agree to 2 yrs although the post for the rental only mentioned 1 yr as a minimum requirement. For move in, the property was not clean. The property had a lot of damage beyond wear and tear. The landlord was sent pictures and video and made no attempt to correct. For move out, the landlord deducted damages that pre-existed accusing me of causing them which I did not. I had videos and photos of the property I took once I had keys to show pre-existing issues. Landlord sent videos showing the property was clean and stated the videos were dated the same month I moved in. The videos did not align with the uncleanliness and damages I had so it is difficult to believe the date accuracy of the landlord's videos. It felt like the landlord was looking for anything to deduct from the security deposit.
